Glacier's East Side Shuttle runs from Glacier Park Lodge to St. Mary Village, June through September. In St. Mary Village, guests can connect the East Side Shuttle with the National Park Service Shuttle which runs the length of the Going-to-the-Sun Road, July through September*.
East Side Shuttle tickets are sold at Glacier Park Lodge or St. Mary Lodge. National Park Service Shuttle reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis at recreation.gov beginning May 2, 2026.
Staying in Whitefish? Grouse Mountain Lodge offers shuttles to and from Glacier Park International Airport, the Whitefish Amtrak Station and Downtown Whitefish. Jump on the S.N.O.W Bus for rides to and from Whitefish Mountain Resort.
*The Going-to-the-Sun Road’s opening and closing dates are weather-dependent, so stay up to date on the National Park Service website.

2025 East Side Shuttle Operation: May 30 – September 22, 2025
Glacier National Park's shuttle service on the Going-to-the-Sun Road is scheduled to operate July through September*, weather permitting. The transit system provides access to Logan Pass Visitor Center from both the west and east sides of Going-to-the-Sun Road.
Shuttle tickets will be released during two booking windows:

Grouse Mountain Lodge operates a shuttle for guests arriving and departing from the Glacier Park International Airport* and/or Whitefish Amtrak Station. In order to take advantage of our transportation, please provide us with your flight or train information by calling 1.844.868.7474. You must schedule your shuttle in advance to ensure a timely pick up.
For outgoing flights, all shuttles depart the lodge at least two hours prior to your flight's departure time. This policy is to ensure all of our guests arrive at the airport within the reccommended time frame. Unfortunately, we cannot deviate from this shuttle schedule.
*Shuttles to and from Kalispell airport are available and requires an 48 hour advanced reservation. Rates each way are $23 per person.
We are proud to operate an on-call shuttle to and from Downtown Whitefish for our Grouse Mountain Lodge guests. When you are ready to go downtown, please notify a front desk agent and they will page the next available shuttle driver. When you are ready for the return trip, simply call the front desk at 1.406.862.3000. Our shuttle stops at Marcus Foods, a small grocery store one block from Central Avenue, where you'll find all the best dining, shopping and night life of Whitefish.
