After packing up camp, relaxed paddling occupies much of the day, along with occasional rapids to up the excitement.
In the peak of summer, the river is so clear you can see the fish hanging out at the bottom of the deepest pools. This region is home to an abundance of wildlife, from westslope cutthroat trout in the water to bald eagles high in the sky. You may even see a bear cooling off from the summer heat.
Afternoon
Pull over for lunch, freshly prepared by your guides.
The latter part of the day will be spent paddling through more rapids and swapping stories with your guides. Take a moment as you paddle towards the takeout to revel in the final stretch of your journey.
